Clay Seed Pod Workshop Hosted by Rosie Brand

In this one-day ceramics workshop we’ll observe a collection of locally foraged seed pods, learning from their more-than-human architectures. We’ll explore their tactile forms through clay, using essential ceramic hand-building techniques to create both ephemeral and permanent sculptures: Clay Seed Pods. Some of these will be embedded with native wildflower seeds to be gifted back to the land, others will be filled with clay ‘seeds’ to make rattlers to call in the rains.

This class is open to all levels of clay experience!

*Ceramic firing is at an additional cost: $10 per person.
