Join us for a screening of the 2019 documentary Spaces of Exception co-directed by Matt Peterson and Malek Rasamny. Spaces of Exception comes out of the long-term multimedia project “The Native and the Refugee”, profiling the American Indian reservation in the United States alongside the Palestinian refugee camp in the Middle East. Directed by Matt Peterson and Malek Rasamny, the documentary was filmed from 2014-2017 in Arizona, New Mexico, New York, and South Dakota in the United States as well as in Lebanon and the West Bank.

The screening will be followed by a short Q&A with co-director Matt Peterson
